Trials and Afflictions For Our Good
The trials, afflictions, persecutions and heartaches of this world are to believers much like the hornets sent by God to gradually drive out the Canaanites from the promised land. The repeated stings of life in a sin-cursed world make God’s people ready and willing to leave this world for the presence of God. Not only to be simply rid of these things, but to be with Christ who delivered us from this present evil world.
