A Short Study of Matthew 6:24
“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other, Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
(Matthew 6:24)
Nobody can serve both God and money. No man can serve both God and greed. Debt is the number one cause of slavery and submission. The enemy of our souls through his world system is constantly seeking ways to keep the masses buying like good consumers, kept further and further from paying off their debt. If money is their master, then they do not have God. They need men and women to be a debt slave to their monitery scheme, for it is the common worker, the common debt slave, coveting after mammon, that keeps this world system, which is clearly a matrix, functioning (1st John 2:15-17).
Dear friends, do not ever allow debt to be the cause of your eternal demise, or the master of your temporal decisions, “for the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things…” (1st Timothy 6:10-11)
