Hope for the Perpetual Backslider

  1. The pastor who gave this sermon seemed so humble and what he shared from the Bible passages, was exactly what I needed to hear. So I posted it on social media to my Christian friends. I left the Evangelical Church when I learned what lavish materialistic lives the televangelists, like Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Joseph Prince and the lot of them were living. They are turning many people away from Christ by their conspicuous display of fortune much of which came from the tithes of many poor and struggling Christians who they PREYED upon, for selfish gain. To me, they are just snake oil salespeople using Christ as a product to sell for personal gain. It is shameful behavior that needs to STOP, in the NAME of JESUS CHRIST.

  2. I have listened to this sermon a few times and have been blessed
A great deal. The one part that
Means much is that we believers
Are as a prey to the enemy of
Our souls but we need to always
Seek Our Father for help that comes from above thru Jesus
    Christ our lord and savior.

    • Very much agree with you Frederick. Thank you for your comment. By God’s grace there is always hope for us in Christ Jesus our Lord. If we confess our sins God says He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. A glorious truth. If we trust in Jesus alone for all of our salvation we will never be put to shame.
