Rulership and The Place of Women in The Church Setting
Women’s place within the congregational setting is another example of the decision by the church body leaders of our day to change God’s laws to suit man’s ideas and desires.
There is tremendous pressure to accept women in the pulpit and allow women to rule and have authority over the congregational settings. This is absolutely contrary to the law of God (1 Cor. 14:33-34, 1 Tim. 2:11-12).
God has given very strict rules regarding the leadership within the assemblies (1 Timothy chapter 3). Not only must the leaders be men but also if they are married with wives then there must be shown evidence that they can rule in their own house having their children in subjection with all gravity. Also, he must not be a novice (a newly convert in the faith of Christ) and other noble qualifications are given for these noble rulers.
Therefore, most men and all women do not even qualify for leadership, and yet, today’s congregations worldwide are appointing divorced [and remarried] men, very young men in the faith, and women into the pulpits. The organized congregations have chosen to go their own way and to disregard God’s law.
