My Confidence In Him
There is a time when a believer can reflect on the marvel of a God who is his confidence.
Just to behold Him who is indescribable and to have the soul flooded with a peace that passes all understanding — that is good.
We are prone to frivolous thinking that completely bypasses that which is weighty, that which is forever.
When a man has been led to the rock that is higher than he is, to a God that is greater than his puny will or nature, and he beholds the excellence of God Almighty in the face of Jesus Christ, he rests and is confident in Him.
