  1. Steve Furtick promotes Rick Warren’s blasphemous book “The purpose driven life” on his website.

  2. How does one reply to this? All I know is that I’ve lived in Charlotte for 21 years and met a lot of Christians in bible studies and different churches here. As a 19 year born again Christian, I am sensitive to professing Christians who are sensitive to God’s spirit among us. I have discovered in the last 9 months that some of the most mature, walk the talk Christians I’ve met over the last 21 years now attend Elevation. In other words, I trust their judgment (God’s). And the Christians who I’ve discerned who were not walking the talk have been changed through Elevation. God’s spirit is alive and well at Elevation Church.
After my first week at Elevation I downloaded one year’s worth of Furtick sermons, listened for two weeks, got a clear bead on the young man and have been blessed to my socks since. I am a better person, a better wife, a better mom, friend, neighbor since.

  3. Yes BUT do you believe the gospel?

Anyone can become a better, Mother, Father, friend, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, neighbor etc from listening to most false prophets.

But the fact is that Steve Furtick does not believe or preach the true gospel.

If Steve Furtick is a true man of God why does he endorse Rick Warren?

  4. can’t we all just get along and agree to disagree? be blessed

  5. This was interesting. Thanks for posting this.

  6. hmm… interesting I didn’t see how he was mocking anyone here I just saw a pastor encouraging his congregation to go out and win others for Christ. As far as him supporting Rick Warren’s book. This does not mean that he is a false prophet. I was at a Hillsong conference this past year, which is one of the leading worship movements in the world, and one of the speakers referenced Joel Osteen which I personally do not support at all. This does not mean that Hillsong is ungodly or a false prophet. Did you know that Steve Furtick also supports and references Billy Graham? I guess he’s a false prophet too? The overall point is this we cannot judge a man by this but Christ says to judge other Christians by their fruit and I believe that the fruit of Elevation Church speaks for itself.

  7. Hello Phillip.

In response to your comment, I would like to make a few short points.

    1) Supporting Rick Warren’s book shows clearly that he is ignorant of the one true God, the true Jesus, and the true gospel.

    2) Hillsong worship an idol, they are a ministry of satan and endorsing the heretic Joel Osteen is clear evidence that the Hillsong speaker endorsing him was ignorant of the one true God, the true Jesus, and the true gospel.

    3) Neither Hillsong or Rick Warren believe the gospel. They are enemies of the church.

    4) The fact that Steven Furtick promotes the heretic Billy Graham is further proof that the man does not abide in the doctrine of Christ.

    5) Billy Graham is an enemy of the church and preaches a false gospel.

  8. Phillip stated in his reply that Christians must judge other Christians by their fruit. What do you do propose one does with the statement by Mr.Graham of Jesus not being the only way to heaven, interpret it as true or false according to scripture? This Steve Furtick I do not know but if he supports Rick Warren’s teachings this also speaks loud against the fruit he bares. Rick Warren is a heretic and an enemy to the true gospel, yoked with unbelievers and a friend to those who will introduce Satan,s Kingdom.

  9. Also an individual can be blessed to one’s socks, a better person, friend, wife, mom, neighbor and still be lost. What good is there in making one feel good about thierselves fat and prosperous and leave them still dying and going to hell? We are to preach a believers message to the chosen so that if one who is chosen walks in they also may be saved.

  10. I’m curious as to why you would accuse Rick Warren as being a heretic, Billy Graham as an enemy of the church, and Hillsong as a ministy of satan. Can you help me with this?

  11. If Billy Graham, Hillsong, and Steven Furtick all preach a “false” Gospel and are enemies of the church…What is the “true” Gospel you are speaking of?

  12. Please read the post on the front page of this website and also click the category “The True Gospel”.
    Thanks.

  13. what specificly makes billy graham and hillsongs wo terrible?

  14. What the freakin’ hell is “the One True Gospel?” Someone better tell me me immediately. You freakin’ Pharisees.

  15. Wow, guys I bet this is only the tip of the iceberg relating to the persecution received by foul mouthed idiots. I am almost afraid to ask if you get death threats and curses as I have for revealing false teachers, apostles, prophets and anointings related to error and deception. Those who back these fakes and phonies sure bear fruit contrary to the fruit of the Spirit.

  16. what is the gospel? You talk about the 1 true gospel, but what do you believe it is?

  17. How is The Purpose Driven Life blasphemous? I didn’t read it. I’m also having trouble understanding how a heavy Furtick-follower (groupie is more like it; I think it’s a crush) like my dear husband’s ex-wife can proclaim to be such a lover of Elevation Church and at the same time harass us constantly, practice parental alienation syndrome (successfully turning my husband’s child against him), exhibit jealous and selfish behavior, chase married men, and be one of the most vicious people I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. Or can she behave this way because she’s “forgiven” and can wipe away her sins each Sunday? See, this leads me to believe that Furtick is another fanatic, another crutch for lonely souls who don’t want to take responsibility for their god-awful behavior toward other human beings. Furtick is too young to have the wisdom to preach. He is a “brand.” He’s a marketing ploy. And fools fall for him. I guarantee this guy has a crying a la Falwell moment in his future after he’s caught with a groupie or two (my husband’s ex is hoping it’s her, I’m sure). Crazy people.

  18. Thanks for posting that! It really inspired me!

  19. Wow! A bit difficult to read all of this! This is all that has come to mind for me: James 3:5-10. “Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts greats things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles. And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison, With it we bless our God an Father, and with it , we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.”

  20. You know, I hear quite a bit about what you DON’T believe, but have not read at all what you DO believe.

Could someone please explain to me how “Billy Graham is an enemy of the church and preaches a false gospel.”?

Also, if people like Steven Furtick and Billy Graham speak the false Gospel, then what is the true Gospel?

  21. Billy Graham has denied Christ Jesus as the only way to be saved and has stated that others from different faiths will be granted access into heaven. Val, has taken James 3 : 5 – 10 out of context and ignores scriptural commands for us to name, warn and avoid false teachers along with their heresies. Once again there are posts on the right hand of every page in alphebetical order. Look in the section labeled categories, Scroll down to the letter t and click on to The True Gospel. These explain in full detail and correctly what the true gospel is without adding nor taking away from it. By the way thank you Test All Things for the presentaion of the true gospel without compromise.

  22. The world is really coming to a end if you think Billy Graham is not a true follower. I really feel sorry for you. What do you think he has been doing all of his life. How many people did he bring to our father. Question how many lives have you brought to him?

  23. Answer, none only God the Father draws individuals to Christ Jesus
Jonn 6 : 44 to be saved. We preach the true gospel that those whom the father has predestined and unconditionally elected before the foudation of the world respond to His irresistable grace through faith in Christ Jesus Ephesians 1 : 1-7, Ephesians 2: 8 – 9. Those who have by their own free will come to Christ are in error. Just as the guestion you pose to me is in error, only God can draw people to Christ and save, who He wills to be saved shall be saved. Many are called but few are chosen. Of course it would require much more time and space to expain in further detail. My advice is for you to read about these subjects on Test All Things to get a more thorough understanding of the truth. Billy Graham and others teach that men by their own free will can come to Chist Jesus and be saved. So the answer to the how many people did he bring to the Father, none. To say Mr. Graham brings people to the Father is to give God’s glory to Billy Graham and blasphemy this I will not do . Glory be to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Don’t feel sorry for me , feel sorry for the thousands who die each day thinking they were saved by a false gospel, who will stand before God on judgment day only to find out they were deceived. After all the years Mr. Graham has crusaded to proclaim a false gospel, now it is time to bare his true fruit which is what the gospel of free will produces.

  24. If choosing Christ as our savior is not up to us, if it is God who chooses who is saved and who is lost, how do you know if you are one of God’s select? How can you know if you are saved?
What’s the point of having missionaries or telling people about Jesus at all, if God chooses the saved?

  25. Can someone please point me to anything showing where “Billy Graham has denied Christ Jesus as the only way to be saved and has stated that others from different faiths will be granted access into heaven.”?

  26. Some of you so called Christians on here are F*cking nuts

I don’t agree with everything Rick Warren says, but he believes in salvation through Jesus Christ, same as Joel Osteen.

Some of you need to get a grip

  27. Yeah, I don’t really like some of his last remarks…he is very numbers driven, like a lot of pastors. I agree we should witness to the lost…but some of these pastors are into the numbers game so they can get money to build big buildings. Not sure I like him after hearing these comments

  28. Are you fucking kidding me?! Even if this guy is way off theologically and even a false teacher, this clip doesn’t show it. He’s right to call people out on their “Christian” consumerism and on arguing theology in place of serving others and the church. Correct theology will lead to humility and service of others, not some fucking blogger with a bone to pick with everyone who disagrees on every last little thing. We’re on the same team, fighting a spiritual war, serving the same Jesus. I know that good theology is necessary and that false teaching should be exposed, but be slow to label someone a heretic and demonize one of our own!

  29. Oh my . Who are any of you to judge God’s chosen?? God will judge them not you. “Do not judge lest you be judged.” No one has the right to judge Billy Graham, Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, or any other of God’s anointed. If you feel they are off track you should be praying for them, not kicking them while they are down!! Shame on you. We are to build others up, not bring them down. Let nothing proceed out of your mouth unless it is EDIFYING to the hearer. I believe Jesus might say, “You brewed of vipers.”

    • What a hypocrite! Doing the very same thing that you condemn by judging us for exposing a heretic. The reason you have such a problem with us exposing heretics such as Billy Graham and Rick Warren is because you do not believe the gospel.
